I’ve fallen madly in love.  With a gentrified brand.  He’s not a new thing, nor particularly cutting edge. 
In fact he’s having a mainstream moment, something I usually avoid like pearls and curls. 

 You see - I never quite understood the Ralph Lauren/Tommy Hilfiger fixation, although Abercrombie & Fitch have gotten closer to pushing my brand buttons – but I think being a Brit girl I still couldn’t connect 100%.
