Weddings in the state of West Bengal are celebrated with much fanfare and can go on for several days. These festivities are divided into pre-wedding rituals, wedding ceremonies and post-wedding customs and these begin with a ritual known as Aiburo Bhaat and ends with the Oshtomongola ceremony.
