"Let's get wasted, It's all we ever do"

That's So New YorkIn my previous post "photography, lets just roll with that" you may have noticed that I briefly mentioned the name Brian Lichtenberg; for those of you who do not know, Brian Lichtenberg is a designer who falls into the unique/alternative category and has also been privileged enough to design various outfits for Lady Gaga, including her infamously daring police-tape dress which you may remember from her hit video/single which also featured singer Beyonce,Telephone. Brian Lichtenberg is in fact the one designer who I can thank in relation to the fact that he was the name which lead me to the discovery of my now borderline-favorite online-store, Alex and Chloe (ah, the wonders of Google and what the action of simply typing a name into a box can do.) Despite the fact that Lichtenberg has now released his Spring/Summer 2011 collection which dabbles in the rather simple palette of fuscia pink, salmon pink, purple (followed by a pastel purple) and black, Brian also manages to continue the stocking of his older pieces, seeming each collection is fitting to multiple seasons, whilst including various spring-only or winter-only (for example) pieces. 

I decided to click over to Alex and Chloe and have a quick flick through some of my favorite Lichtenberg dresses; the majority being from the Fall/Winter 2010 period where Brian seeming to be experimenting in the slightly more over-the-top styles, accompanied by various revealing techniques, such as the use of transparent net-type material followed by PVC  ...
