Carry Me Please is excited to be one of the first in North America to carry Kiki-London designer handbags. These handbags are designed by Kiki Ito originally from Japan but has chosen London to establish her designer label. Kiki London clutch handbags are handmade by high quality leather goods manufacturers, and are all sourced personally by Kiki, including the vintage Obi kimono fabrics imported from Japan. One obi will make approximately 7 bags so production of these bags is extremely limited. Kiki’s designs are a product of her varied background, growing up in Japan, living in the USA and now in the UK. Kiki’s work has been influenced by the West while retaining a taste and values gained in the East. Qualities such as balance, simplicity, proportion, and joy of use all go into Kiki London handbags and contribute towards creating pieces that aim to make their users feel special. Featured here is the Koro Obi (limited edition) clutch bag designed from a vintage Obi kimono fabric and the Katara clutch bag designed from black patent leather and suede. These bags are beautiful and very rare. Kiki London has been listed as a finalist for the 2010 Independent Handbag Designer Awards for Best Use of CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements. The awards will take place on June 16, 2010. Good luck to Kiki Ito and welcome to Carry Me Please.
