I always love salvaging Kay Unger because every piece I’ve ever pillaged has been modern, fresh, captivating & chic. Every woman needs a top like this because with or without a jacket this piece sizzles on the open market. Finding and pairing this Kay Unger top with this silk skirt by Sportmax has a nice cut to it. Of the 35 labels in the MaxMara stable, Sportmax is perhaps the best known after the original line. Created in 1969 by founder Achille Mara, it’s geared toward younger shoppers with its silk party dresses and deconstructed tops. A lower-priced line, it follows in the house’s tradition of selling luxury to women who can’t—or won’t—pay high-fashion prices.
