In my humble opinion I think Earth Day has to be one of the best days ever and why it’s not a national holiday is beyond me. Earth Day is a day early each year on which events are held worldwide to increase awareness & appreciation of the Earth’s natural environment. Earth Day is celebrated in more than 175 countries every year. Earth Day was first on March 21, 1970 so Happy 42nd Birthday…. It’s the simple things in life we all take for granted like each time you turn on the water faucet and water comes rolling out of the tap or each time you flip that switch and voila lights! There could come a day when those precious resources aren’t available and will it be to late then to act? So I say act now and start with the simple things like taking a shorter shower and less baths, turn the water off when you brush your teeth or shave, unplug those electrical cords that you don’t use, turn the lights off when you leave the room etc. I’m sure you’re heard that old saying “if it’s yellow let it mellow, if it’s brown flush it down” well that applies in my household and we take that to a whole new level but it’s TMI…. So today please take a moment, close your eyes and say “thank you Mother Nature for giving me such a STYLISH world”…. Keep keeping it ‘green’….Daniel your luxury curator!
