Exclusively, shocking, qualitatively and at the same time – reserved, strictly and expensively. What the first comes to mind after such interesting combination? Is it kind of casual? In turn, it is very changeable and full of wrangling phenomenon which is necessary for every modern person, most often the image of such person is formed under the influence of fashion concepts. For some of them it`s the main indicator of trends, but for someone else it`s just a peculiar form of freedom of style.
Everything that most directly concerns fashion is growing rapidly worldwide and gives a great pleasure to transform endlessly into anyone, because there are no restrictions! On the other hand, it`s a pity that many people try to keep up with fashion, so that make a laughing-shock of themselves and it becomes so-called “pseudo fashion”.
What I mean here? In addition, it has become a way of life for the whole cloud of mods, and in a certain way it has became not very successful imitation. After all, the fashion can be considered from the viewpoint of art. It is a combination of completely different elements, which create an image together.
A great disadvantage is that many people operate on the principle “I love fashion because it is fashionable”! It is sad to realize that in fact a great example of this was the tragic death of the famous designer Alexander McQueen. After that sham fashionistas, including those who even haven`t heard about his existence before, became his passionately devoted fans. But let’s just leave it…
Also the integral part of fashion is the pursuit of novelty. Publications which contain fashion trends and modern history let you watch all random news and add fashion into cultural frames of époque. One of them is probably the most influential magazine in the fashion world VOGUE, which is a terrific guide in this world for many women and bears the standard of good taste and professionalism.
What else if not photography shows all the eccentricity of fashion in the best way? Its beauty, singularity and strangeness, provoking originality... This wonderful union has a very simple name – fashion photography. Photography is an integral part of fashion at all times and nowadays. In the XIX century photography wasn`t represented in the form in which we know it now – there were only negatives, without images… I like American photographer Sally Mann among the photographers of early XX century best of all. Also I like Bert Stein who became popular thanks to his photographs of Marilyn Monroe – one of the first fashion models of that time who was naked in front of camera, and all of it was in the name of fashion!
Photography is an entire culture, and it will certainly become one of the leading trends in art in the future. Models of those times had other beauty ideals, which are significantly differed from the present. Now when I look at the models from glossy magazines it`s hard for me to imagine the beauty ideal of XXI century.
Jobs which are dedicated to fashion industry became very popular, and it`s often gives reason to think that it`s the easiest thing – to work in fashion industry. Undoubtedly, even a talented person sometimes discovers his talent as an end of his initiative – all this because of lack of inspiration which is the key point to go towards, only inspiration gave birth to crazy ideas, which don`t remain inactive too long, don`t become dusty but realize! But we shouldn`t forget that you need to do such work very properly, but you cannot achieve what is not in your power. The road to success – it`s when you have a possibility to develop, but you shouldn`t see everything blurry. In this case you should run the program of a maximum deal, and anyway all is fair in the fight for your right place.
Can you build career based on it? Modeling is driven by two motives, or rather by two separated views. Some assert that the earnings in such way is the worst that can be, in every possible way try to defile models in selling themselves, in the deprivation of a decent education, etc., while others are crowned with a happy life, successful career and worthy of a breakthrough in self-development. Of course, any area that is formed from the fashion is a creative activity, which develops into a profession. The choice of creative profession is still quite risky.
Directly in fashion there is a number of criteria by which we can judge about anything or anyone. Once Emanuel Ungaro said, “If any woman amazed you by her beauty and you don`t remember what she worn, so she was dressed perfectly”. Now to be perfectly dressed – it`s a loose concept. To be a sort of à la mode - this is the freshest and most modern.
And the main conclusion of fashion – it`s the simplicity of luxury and the luxury of simplicity in its glory, and when beauty leads to the avant-garde then a new EPOQUE is born – that is an eternal value!
