Summer is all about less. Less homework, less clothing, and less makeup. Nobody wants to put a full makeup during the hottest days of the year, especially when the most of it will be sweat off. Moisturizing

Hydrating lotions should be used always, but especially in summer when your skin needs a special portion of moisturization.

Forget foundation

As it has been said earlier, summer is a time of minimum layers, so you don’t have to coat you skin with a foundation every day. Your skin should breathe to stay healthy and clean, so you have to forget about a heavy foundation at least for now. Blend a concealer with moisturizer and use it instead of a foundation and spot it where you need coverage. If you need a full coverage, try a cream-to-powder foundation instead of liquid one and set it with powder. This covers small skin defects and still feels much lighter.

Dewing

Some makeup experts recommend skipping blushes and powder shadows in the hot heat. Make a lighter look, shifting the emphasis from eye shadows to the eyeliner so that you can get a good eye definition. 

Lips

Bright, statement lipstick is a perfect choice for a summer makeup. The statement lip looks even hotter when it is matching a colorful flush on your cheeks. You can use your fingertips to blend a little of your long wear lipstick onto your cheeks for a light and warm glow, and you are out the door!

Finishing touches

The easiest part of a time-minute face makeup is the last step. Put the highlighter above the brow bone, on the high planes of your cheeks, the inner corners of your eyes, chin and the cupid’s bow. Use a long-lasting mascara, it will be the top of your look. This kind of mascara will last even through the most humid, sweatiest times. Make sure that you are fully stocked with the blotting papers to remove the unavoidable summer shine of your face and your amazing look is complete.
