I work in fashion
About Me
I began showing creative abilities when I was a child. When I visited my grandmother in summer, she even hid needles from me in hope that I would spend holidays as “normal” children. Sewing was a kind of a hobby for me at that time, then it became my profession.
All began with the House of Children Creative Work in the Izhevsk city where starting from the third school grade I attended the children studio “Fashion and Time”. There I got the first tailoring, cutting, embroidery and hairdressing skills and, which is more important, I felt love for the history of Her Majesty Fashion, that now is even bigger. Up to ninth grade I went to this studio and my graduation work was a woman historical costume of the Renaissance, where everything, beginning from the dress embroidery up to a fan and a small bag, was made by hand. First initiatives were supported by recognition at the city contest “Golden Needle” in 2000 where it got the first prize.
Fashion Industry Experience
After the ninth grade I entered the lyceum “Moda” №28 to get the profession of a designer-modeler. I had an uneasy, but interesting and creative life for almost 5 years. Then more than once the initial skills helped me out and saved my time. Along with the standard secondary and special subjects in the lyceum I mastered additional subjects in the Fashion theatre: image technology, stage and defile composition. In the fourth year my lyceum life had the culmination — the victory at the All-Russian contest “Tailor-2005”. Then as a final diploma work, not forgetting my interests, I made a woman’s historical costume of the 18th century and participated in the creation of the collection “Madame Pompadour”.
After graduation from the lyceum for some time I took part in fashion-shows and worked in the lyceum as an artistic director of the Fashion theatre. That year we got a Grand-Prix at the second Republic’s Festival of amateur fashion theatres “New Line-2006”.
After that I got the position of a costume-designer in the Centre of the wedding evening fashion “Belaya Legenda” (“White Legend”) in the Izhevsk city and its Moscow branch, where I worked about a year. Such collections as “Lyudmila”, “Autolady”, “Music and Fashion” were created during this period. In 2006 these collections participated in the IX International exhibition “Wedding Fashion Moscow”. The collection “Lyudmila” was bought by the Russian Spiritual Theatre “Glas” (Moscow) and is used in a play on poems by the great Russian poet Sergei Esenin. At the same time I mastered cutting technique at the private course “Lubaks”, where I met Anastasia Shvedtchikova. Since then we have been working together.Fashion house “Dinastia” is a creative union of two costume designers Anastasia Shvedchikova and Anastasia Tutaeva, who believe that the work with costumes is much more than just making clothes, but, first of all, creation of a beautiful and harmonious person.
Our common creative way began with the doll costume. In 2007 we met Olina Ventsel, a world-famous designer of author’s porcelain dolls, and helped her for several months in creating dolls’ images. After Olina Dmitrievna’s sudden death we finished the doll project “Tsar Nicolas II family” and the doll “Feminity” of a human height, started in master’s life time.
In 2008 we began coworking with porcelain designer Dmitry Kurganov and the first collection of author’s porcelain dolls was made, that participated in the IV International Doll Salon in Moscow where it became an event of the year. In collaboration with Dmitry Kurganov we continue creating author’s porcelain dolls.
Another course of our work, no less important and favorite one, is creation of casual and festive person’s images with the use of stylistics, perfectly fitting and ideally made clothes and accessories.
