  • Hi Gisele,

I am fine thank you. Looking for new projects.

I was unfortunately busy too during London Fashion Week. What I read it was like a funeral. Very much black.

I like your collection very much. Very ladylike, that is what I like. I believe you could have customers here. Many ladies here do prefer that look.
I think your photo with a lady sitting on a bench says it all, ladies.

I do not know any fashionistas in my city, Winchester. I am sure I can find it in London.

I can see from your email address you are a Mac-user. Welcome n the group.

I will continue searching your website. It is very userfriendly. I like your greyscale. Very friendly to the eyes.

    Bo
P.s. I tried to send you a message from your website but it did not work out. I believe your server is in bad mood.

Let me know more about your new line, please.

  • Hi Gisele , Great to be friends with you . Would be great to do some work together . Do you do any sourcing from out of the USA ??
Do have a look at our web site www.added-dimension.in . If we can be of any support in any stage of the Apparel and textile value chain, it will be a pleasure. Working together is the best way to keep in touch and gives us the opportunity to look at traveling to our respective countires.

Looking forward to being in touch .

    Warm regards

    Salil

PS : You have a lovely smile and mesmarising eyes... cheers
  • Hi Gisele,
I am fine thanks. Preparing for Goodwood Revival this weekend. In case you don't know, it is a revival at Goodwood Motor Circuit. During three days Lord Marsh brings back the life of the motor circuit 1948-1965. Staff is dressed accordingly and visitors encouraged to dress accordingly. A lot of people seems confussed as they dress in everything 1948-65, and not specific to how people actually dressed when going to the motor circuit. You can see all kind of dressing, maybe not ballgowns but otherwise. I guess it shows peoples need and love of dressing up?

Regarding my research for the 50's retro. The fashion circus moves on. From what I can understand the next big trend will be mid-60's. The 50s will stay among the people that discovered it this year but it will probably not develop.

At least here in the UK the keyword seems to be 'femininity' and 'feminine'. Sometime I got the impression words are used without understanding the word. Ask the people uing those words to explain what they mean with it.

Next week, London Fashion Week. What is coming out is the things some fashion people decides to bring out. I mean I am sure you have designers loving the 50s style but the fashion journalists used by television want to present something new.
Have you seen 'Vivienne of Holloway'. She creates 50s retro. People loves her fashion. Women loves the dresses with wide skirts and petticoats.

Take care! Talk to you later.

    Bo

  • What is the difference between 'fashion' and 'trend'? To me it is two words for the same thing. Something we see people wear for a period.
