"Rêve des Caraïbes" PRE-FALL 2012 by Francisco Casals-New Designer

"Rêve des Caraïbes"

This collection is inspired by French socialites traveling to the Caribbean islands. It is a blend of European sophistication and the colorful and free ambience of the Caribbean, resulting in effortless luxury. No one more epitomizes than 60’s socialite Gloria Guinness.

She was known for her impeccable sense of style and indulged in the best of the best. This is for confident women who enjoy life and let themselves free. For the warm weather, the choices of fabrics are silk chiffon and silk charmeuse complemented with embroidered lace, pleating and ombreé techniques. This collection’s color palette consists of acqua, peach, emerald green and neutral colors. The key piece of pre-fall is the champagne color cape-dress that represents the flow of the Caribbean Sea as well a sip of refreshing champagne.

You’re cordially invited to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, in style. "Life is a runway and since the world is looking, you have to look your best."
Francisco Casals is an up-and-coming fashion designer from Puerto Rico. He has a bachelors in Arts graduated Cum Laude from Metropolitan University, studied in Liza Thon fashion school back in his native Puerto Rico and in New York at Parsons School of Design.
