Too much sugar can contribute to weight gain, but when put it to use in your beauty routine, sugar can prove to have amazing benefits for your skin. You can use this ingredient in different ways in different parts of your body to work on your problem areas and to get healthy skin. You can actually use sugar from your face down to your toes, because the the small particles of sugar make it an excellent topical exfoliant which is easily available and works just fine on the skin. Here are different ways to include sugar in your beauty regime.

Homemade manicure scrub

Our hands tend to give away our age easily, yet we ignore our hands and when it comes to anti-ageing remedies, we only focus on our face and neck area. You can get youthful and gorgeous hands by using a homemade remedy made with brown sugar. To make a quick homemade manicure scrub mix a cup of brown sugar with 1/3 cup of olive oil. Store this mixture in a container and use it once a week to exfoliate your hands and get soft skin.

Natural lip scrub

Say goodbye to dry, chapped lips by using sugar lip scrub. You can make your own lip scrub by mixing a tablespoon of sugar with few drops of olive oil and using this granulated sugar and oil mix to exfoliate your lips in circular motion. Your dry and flaky lips will become smooth and soft.

Homemade body scrub

Just cleaning your body with soap and water is not enough to get rid of the dirt and grime, you should exfoliate your body on regular basis to get rid of the dead skin cells. Instead of the readily available body scrub, you can make your own body scrub at home by mixing a cup of brown sugar with a mashed banana. Use this body scrub all over your body to get supple and smooth skin.

You can also use wet granulated sugar to exfoliate your skin and rinse before shaving your hands and legs. The sugar scrub will help you get smoother shave on your hands and legs.

Exfoliating shampoo

This simple hack will help you to exfoliate your scalp and buff away all the dead skin cell and hair product build up in your scalp. Adding a tablespoon of sugar to a dollop of shampoo and massaging it on your scalp will remove all the gunk in your scalp. Use this once a week for healthy scalp.

Homemade pedicure scrub

Just like the manicure scrub, you can make your very own homemade pedicure scrub and use it on your feet to slough off the dead cells. Mix 1/2 cup of coconut oil, 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar, 2-3 teaspoons peppermint extract and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix all the ingredients well and then store it in a container. Use it generously all over your feet while in the shower.

Exfoliating hand wash

Juts a little bit of sugar added to your liquid hand wash can help you remove grease and dirt off your hands easily. It acts as a mild abrasive which helps to remove gunk and grime from your hands easily without using harsh chemicals. When you rinse, the sugar and soap will wash off leaving you with soft hands. Wipe your hands with a clean towel and then slather some hand cream.Read more at:black prom dresses | evening gowns
