The Council of Fashion Designers of America/CFDA Foundation, Inc. will enter into a new partnership with the online global luxury retailer Net-a-Porter.com to launch Fashion Targets Breast Cancer® (FTBC) Worldwide. The initiative marks the first global retail partnership for FTBC, in which a series of limited-edition FTBC-branded items will be available for sale exclusively at NET-A-PORTER.COM.

Fashion became intoxicating on Saturday, August 25, 2007 when Mockingbird Station, the pioneer of mixed-used developments in Texas, hosted t its inaugural Flirt Fashion Show. This fashion event was free and open to the public, and was a collaborative effort with The Station’s restaurants and fashion retailers. The event had a raffle of prizes donated by Mockingbird Station tenants, with the proceeds benefitting the efforts of Dress for Success' Young Executives for Success. Read more about the F

Today I unexpectedly ran into New York Fashion Week at Bryant Park. I was in the city with the wife and kids to visit with friends visiting NY from Boston. Searching for a place to rest, we landed in Bryant Park. For someone that manages several fashion industry websites, one would have thought that I would be more privy to what goes on at Bryant Park during fashion week.
