Russell Athletic is a very large apparel company... I am curious about why their website currently indicates "New Site Coming January 2008" (by the way, today is January 7th). In my opinion, a company of this size should transition between sites a bit faster. They certainly could have managed to keep their old site in place until the new site was complete, tested, and ready to go. I am not sure how long this site has been offline, but I had noticed that the site said coming soon at least a week

In my opinion, this year will be a critical one for fashion designers, fashion boutiques, and all other apparel relevant companies. IF the consumer is truly slowing as the stock market may have signaled again today, shouldn't we be on high alert?
If retail sales are slow, will clothing store buyers have a slower turn of merchandise...
If the turn is slower, won't that slow the rate of purchasing new inventory...

There are shops in town and city centers up and down the country that are now stocking these ranges; in order for shops to stock these ranges obviously designers both high-end and high-street are now producing the clothes.
There are articles and sites springing up based around this subject as well as established clothes shops now stocking them; www.wish.co.uk based in Coventry and Online is one such outlet. What are your opinions of designer baby clothes?
