It's been a few weeks since the budget was announced for the UK, but I thought I'd do a quick blog post on how the fashion and retail industry might be affected. The budget will hopefully make retailer's lives easier when it comes to employing people, with many enterprise zones being set up throughout the UK with the intention of encouraging growth in the jobs market.
For those looking for fashion jobs this can only be good news, as new initiatives are underway for training programmes designed to reduce unemployment. The government is initiating 40,000 internships and 100,000 work experience placements which means that opportunities will be aplenty despite the difficult economic times. Reasons to be cheerful!
