Ways to wear a sarong / pareo

The "French Pacific" sarong dress

  1. Holding two corners on the long side of the sarong, wrap the sarong behind your back horizontally.
  2. Bring one end across your body to the opposite shoulder.
  3. Wrap the other end underneath your bust, around your back to the opposite shoulder.
  4. Tie both ends at the shoulder.

The toga sarong dress

  1. Wrap the sarong around your body
  2. Take it behind your back and leave a little "tail" on the side. Basically, you have two tails - the larger one comes across your shoulder, and the smaller one hangs on the side.
  3. Tie these two tails together on the back.

The beach jacket sarong

  1. Place your sarong on a flat surface
  2. Grab and tie the parallel corners together so that you have two tight knots.
  3. Put your arms through the holes as if they were sleeves

The fancy sarong dress

  1. Wrap the sarong around your body
  2. Tie the upper ends (just the corners).
  3. Put your head right through the loop.

The skirt sarong

  1. Wrap your sarong around your hips
  2. Tuck each end into the panties of your swimsuit. You can also use a buckle for a more elegant look.
