Well, it is that time of the year again! So, before you continue to do your back to school/work shopping, here is the list I post yearly of Wardrobe Classics and Staples.

By definition, these are items that will NEVER go out of style and the things that EVERY woman should have in her closet. Click here for the list of ten items from the previous year (if you take a look, you will see the list will improve over time...you do not...DO NOT need to buy everything at once. )

I realize now that even I still don't have everything (and that's why I should print this out when I go shopping, lol).

I now have:

1. Trench coat (in beige and black).

2. White collared shirt (as well as other colors).

3. Stilettos. Ummmm...yeah. Plenty of those, lol

4. Turtlenecks. I could use more colors, of course.

5. Knee-length skirt (I actually have a few now...I like skirts more than I thought I did).

6. Dark-rinse jeans (different cuts will help your wardrobe out...believe me)!

7. Blazer (a boyfriend blazer, that is). Now, if I could only just buy a REGULAR, classic blazer...lol. I'm not what you would call a conformist, even when it comes to classics. I like to buy what I want whether it's classic or trendy, as long as it fits well. I like the fit of boyfriend blazers. It is relaxed fitting and can still be worn with almost anything. So I'm good...for now.

8. Little Black Dress. I FINALLY bought an all-purpose LBD. It can be worn in any season, with or without a blazer and I LOVE the fit. I'll have to buy another LBD (maybe not in black but definitely a go-to dress that you could switch up at any moment).

9. Black Slacks. I have a few now, but again, who doesn't need more than one pair in different styles?

Still on my list of things to buy?

1. A suit. LOL I still don't have one *shaking my head.* I never really been a suit person (I like to mix and match). That is my reason; BUT, I KNOW there is going to come a time when a suit is in order. I hope to have one well before then.

What do YOU have in your closet on the list? Did you take the classic route, or did you get something that was a little (or a lot) trendy?
