The ongoing Chaitra Navratri festivities are incomplete without donning gorgeous ethnic ensembles. If you are a new bride, incorporating the traditional red hue in your wardrobe might be on your radar. And we have the perfect recommendation for you, straight from the queen of six drapes - Vidya Balan's wardrobe. On March 22, Vidya Balan wished her followers 'Happy Gudi Padwa' by posting pictures from a recent photoshoot dressed in a beauteous red brocade silk saree.

Vidya Balan's sindoori red silk saree featured a broad patti border and intricate brocade embroidery in gold. Vidya wore the six yards in traditional style, draping the pallu elegantly on the shoulder and letting the pleats fall on the front. A matching red-coloured silk blouse featuring a wide plunging neckline, gold brocade embroidery, half-length sleeves, fitted bust, and a cropped hem completed the glam picks with the outfit.

In the end, Vidya chose a dainty red bindi, traditional ornate gold jhumkis, patterned bangles, and a statement ring for the accessories with the beauteous saree. A centre-parted sleek bun, darkened brows, subtle eye shadow, bold red lip shade, mascara on the lashes, dewy base, blushed cheekbones, and light contouring rounded off the glam picks.
