We love Broadway by way of Britain retailer, TopShop, and to go along with their Spring campaign, they’ve decided to give us a lesson in style terminology. It starts off just fine, with a service and a purpose – keffiyeh? Did someone say Balenciaga FW07? Nice recap, TopShop, we’re glad to see ethnic print scarves back on the radar.


Next up - slash, tassle, nibble, unravel – terms used by TopShop designers when they’re going to be distressing an item, “… there’s the nibble, like a moth has got into your cupboard and had a little snack!
