Top Gun: Aviators Make A 2011 Comeback

That's So New York - Designers are reintroducing the classic aviator-style sunglasses in their Spring/Summer 2011 Accessory Collections. Chanel, Gucci, and of course Ray-Ban, to name a few, are including the simplistic aviator style with slender frames and polarized lenses. Risk takers like Fendi and Dior presented a new twist on the aviators, incorporating bold frames and bright colors. Other designers such Marc Jacobs, Jaeger London, and Tom Ford are blending the aviator and wayfarer style to make a chunky crossbreed paired with dark lenses. This trend isn’t just for women; aviators are unquestionably a unisex frame. A pair of aviators is a must-have trend in 2011.
