The 2017 spring and summer fashions all seem to feature designs that are big and showy. From incredible bright colors and patterns in clothing to gigantic earrings and bracelets that cover half your forearm, the trend reveals a philosophy that bigger is better. It seems as though each and every design in shoes featured some point of eye catching drama and the ankle is the focus of that drama in this next trend. Anything that wraps the ankle is big this year. Lace up breathable boots, super strappy bowtie sandals, funky ruffles, leather and buckles, it you can make it go around an ankle, around an ankle it went.
