LA Times Rock Style

Wednesday night the Los Angeles Times and Macy’s presented Rock Style featuring the latest summer fashion lines.  The fashion show took place at the Tropicana pool and bar at the historic Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.  The set up was beautiful in traditional Cali style with palm trees and a sunset.  The event included over 300 guests including celebrities, fashion designers, performances by The Pierces, and hosted by Ted Stryker from KROQ radio station.  The runway jetted out into the pool making for a great landscape to showcase the new summer lines available at Macy’s.

Model’s strut the runway in colorful ensembles from a variety of themes including:  swimwear, rock & roll, preppy nautical and finally a Brasil inspired collection. There was no shortage of color that night as bold patterns and neon accents graced the stage. Models wore everything from tribal, fringe, stripes, and animal prints.  All of the items featured at the runway show are available at Macy’s this summer.
