Want a walk-in wardrobe but don’t think you’ve got enough space? The solution is simple.
Invest in a few dividers to block off part of your room in an unfussy and inexpensive way. Then, add in a few rails to hang your clothes and voila – a fully functional walk-in wardrobe.
For an added dose of style, why not jazz up your dividers with a floral pattern or a fresh lick of paint? After all, what’s better for a Carrie Bradshaw apartment than interior chic?
Empty space = fashion space
Got a spare room? Then you’ve just found your ideal style den.
Chances are your disused room is filled with more junk than an episode of Scrapheap Challenge, so replace that exercise bike you swore you were going to use last year with those Jimmy Choos you slaver over every time you see them.
A few steps further than a walk-in wardrobe, the ideal style den will have everything you need for a major pampering session. So invest in a well-lit mirror, a wide range of different makeups and plenty of dust covers to stop your favourite little black dress becoming covered in lint.
Naturally, this is in an ideal world. The more modest home might not be able to afford an entire room of sartorial splendour. But everyone deserves a place where they can look good, so find a little corner of your home and kit it out to make Carrie Bradshaw proud.
