'Sleep Walking' Pajama Trends Hit The Runway

That's So New York - Ever wake up wishing you could just roll out of bed, put on some make-up and head out the door? This season, designers are making this fantasy a reality with their Pajama inspired Spring/Summer 2011 Collections. Soft, silky and sexy are three words that sum up Thakoon’s spring collection which include floral prints and delicate slip dresses. Heading to the office? Try layering a camisole, a lightweight jacket and fitted skirt to this alluring look to make more office appropriate. Pajama bottoms of all lengths were also big on the runways this season. In Suno’s Spring Ready-to-Wear Collection, wild vintage inspired prints were painted across the runway. Add a sophisticated top to wear these bottoms out to lunch, or a strapless top to show off those shoulders. Although Band of Outsiders included full on pajamas in their collection, you may want to keep this look in the bedroom or wear them as separates.
