Queen Letizia is a fashion icon and she has proven to us that she has amazing taste when it comes to clothes. This was proven once again when she and husband King Felipe went on their first official visit since their return from Mallorca where they were on holiday with their family. The Queen was wearing very stylish and captivating black dress designed by Felipe Varela who is a famous Spanish designer. The dress impressed the gathered people with its see-through back with embellished flowers.
The royal engagement this time was in Málaga, where the royal couple visited the Museo Picasso on Friday, which is the museum that shows the work of the modern artist Pablo Picasso. The outside of the museum was crowded by all the people that wanted to see the Queen and King. Some of them have been waiting for many hours and their patience was finally rewarded when the royals appeared. The couple made sure that they greeted their fans and even posed for some selfies with the people that asked them.
Once they have entered the museum, King Felipe and Queen Letizia admired the large collection of Picasso’s work and also got to see some of the newer Picasso works that came from FABA – the Spanish collection of art. The pieces are loaned from the foundation for a period of 15 years.
The evening was concluded with a formal dinner, which marked the 19th Spain-USA Forum. The event is held annually and it strengthens the good relationship between Spain and the States. It brings together American and Spanish business people and politicians who discuss their mutual interests.
For the evening meal, Queen Letizia showed the world that she can recycle her clothes as she wore a small black dress that her fans might remember seeing her in it when she visited the USA in year 2013.
