On September 29, the official closing of the SUMMER 2019 cycling season will take place. A column of cyclists will solemnly drive through the main streets of the city and finish at the Sok - Krasnaya Glinka GLK. The organizer will be a non-profit partnership sports and tourist club "VeloSamara".
The launching pad this year will again be Glory Square, where at 9:00 the gathering of event participants will begin. As always, for safer movement of the column around the city, all cyclists will be divided into dozens, each of which will have a responsible cyclist - a ten's manager. In the square, each of them will receive a "uniform" - a reflective safety vest, and the number of his group. At 9:30 - the construction of the column and a general briefing on traffic rules. Traffic safety will be provided by the traffic police. At 10:00, the start will be given. Since last year the closure was already organized at GLK, the route will be familiar to many. Cyclists 14 years and older can ride on public roads. The arrival of the first cyclists to the finish place is planned at 12:30. An official cultural and entertainment program awaits at the venue for all participants of the event, the start of which will be given after the opening address of club director Roman Yeryomkin. Prize draws, dynamic relay races, extreme shows from Cyril Sinev and much more are planned. During the cultural and entertainment program, the final stage of the Cross-Country VeloSamara Cup will be held. The result of the event will be an award for the competitions held within the framework of the season, and awarding of winners and prize-winners of the VeloSamara Cross-Country Cup.
