Piazza Sempione with a colorful Dior bag.

I love finding Piazza Sempione at the thrift stores, just LOVE it. First thing I noticed about thisdress was its shade of pink, its not that in your face shade of pink,it’s more subtle but then again it’s Italian. Paola Toscano, who tookover the creative reins at Piazza Sempione in March, said her missionas design director was to “give the brand a defined identity.” And inher debut collection, Toscano struck a balance between masculine andfeminine in snappy, silk organza pantsuits, oversize white poplinshirts and high-waisted pencil skirts, some sporting suspenders.Dresses came ladyfied with arty overtones, like a slim gauzy linenprinted with paint splotches and another shift with raised graphicshapes woven into the material, showing the designer’s flair withinteresting fabrics. I later found this Diorsaddle shoulder handbag that I think screams out “come get me Spring!”The red leather lining on the bag really does compliment the pink dressand then with that splash of yellow, good god it screams out more thancome get me Spring but like bring me a cocktail too !

This entire ensemble cost me $9.00. I know you can close your mouth now. Don’t forget tocheck out The Thrifters Boutique located on top right corner and followme on Twitter & Facebook. Toodles for now. Daniel
