Model Awareness: Lara Stone

That's So New York - Designers, Photographers, Editors and Fashion Professionals in general cannot get enough of model, Lara Stone. Thanks to her Bardot-esque look, sexy figure, growling stare and of course her unique gap-toothed smile, she is considered one of the most beautiful, sexy and unique models in the fashion industry today. After working for years at the Elite Model Agency, her career took a positive turn when she joined IMG in 2006. Stone impressed hundreds of designers who chose her to be a part of of either there collection campaigns or runway shows, including: Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Balmain,Celine, Hermès, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy and many more. Despite the fact that she is a natural size 8, which is pretty revolutionary in fashion terms, her curved body has made her a desirable asset to photographers, and of-course as she appears naked in a number of magazines, sometimes even more often than her clothed shoots.

Personally, I believe she is an incredible inspiration and hopeful, for fashion in general and young girls in particular, to see models that impress with their personality and rare beauty, as-well as a natural figure is something which could be potentially trend-changing as far as the modeling industry is concerned. Lara Stone has managed to draw in almost everyone’s attention in the fact that she is much more than just pretty face. She is a real woman.
