This gorgeous long black linen MaxMara dress is made in Italy and the tweed Bernard Zins jacketwas made in France so right off the top you know you are getting highstyle. These 2 countries are known for luxury fashion houses, exceptional quality, fantastic designs both in fashion and furnitureand of course culture like no body’s business. Lets start with theblack linen MaxMaralong dress made in Italy. This dress is a classic, it’s somethingthat would carry you for many years to come and all you need to do tokeep it updated and modern is wearing the proper shoes & clutch. The Bernard Zinstweed jacket was made in France and is hands down elegant and sassy. The French sure know how to design timeless pieces, again another itemyou could wear year after year never getting dated. I can’t help myselfwhen I’m thrifting and run across an item that says “made in Italy” or“made in France”. I’m weak and I can’t help myself. I just believethat these 2 countries, for the most part, really know how to constructtimeless creations, they aren’t about ‘trends’ or ‘what’s hot for thesecond’. I do not believe in that psychology either, it’s narrowminded and shortsighted. The dress looks fabulous solo but if youneeded an extra squeeze of STYLE then I’m really loving it with thejacket for evening. I found the most perfect heels that would go withthis outfit and they are made by Adidas and aren’t available until10/14/10, they are fashion wedges. Check the photo to see how modernthey look. Now if I’ve made you want to collect your passport andtravel off to one of these countries or both, please travel safe andpack only your best. If there is any item on my blog you are interestedin please email me for price, additional photos and measurements. Besure to check out The Thrifters Boutique and follow me on Twitter & Facebook, also click and watch my YouTube videos on thrifting. Toodles for now. Daniel
