In just two weeks New York City will once again be a buzz with fashionistas, designers, and thin young models for Fashion Week Fall 2011. Excess is one thing we can always count on for Fashion Week.
There does, however, seem to be some steps towards sustainability for the fashion industry. For one, top designers are creating exclusive items to raise money and awareness about the deteriorating state of the enviornment. The group bringing together designers such as Gucci, Prada, Manolo Blahnik, Stella McCarney, Michael Kors and many more, is Runway to Green.
