Galliano returns to the fashion world.

The ex Dior fashion designer, John Galliano who designer stunning selections of Women’s Designer Clothing was found guilty of anti-Semitism back in 2010 is rumoured to be making a return to the fashion world.

The 50 year old Galliano was sacked from the Dior Fashion house after proof of his anti-semantic rants were recorded on a mobile phone and published. One of the most celebrated designers of his generation, Galliano had been at the creative helm of Christian Dior for 15 years, as well as running his own label, until the outburst brought his career crashing to a halt.

Now, John Galliano is making his fashion come back with a temporary residence at Oscar de la Renta’s studio in New York, and is set to re-immerse himself back into the world of fashion. At the present moment in time it isn’t known what projects he will be working on during his time there, or what he might do afterwards.

However since his Dior dismissal, Galliano hasn’t been totally jobless, he designed Kate Moss' wedding dress in July 2011 and has also been mooted as the new creative director of the newly-re-launched Schiaparelli - rumours that were quickly dismissed. He has spent considerable time recovering from the addictions that caused his much-publicised drunken Paris outburst.

"I am an alcoholic," Galliano told WWD. "I have been in recovery for the past two years. Several years prior to my sobriety, I descended into the madness of the disease. I said and did things which hurt others, especially members of the Jewish community. I have expressed my sorrow privately and publicly for the pain which I caused, and I continue to do so. I remain committed to making amends to those I have hurt."
