Fall's Black and White: Too safe for fun?

As I was perusing the latest content of GQ I noticed something that I had hoped I wouldn't: Diesel has finally won. Black, Black, Black on every designer. Sure the prints are nice, and colors are hard to work during Fall, but to use black as the crux? BORING! Even brown seems to brighten up my day when I look around on top designers' websites. I was happy to see that dark, royal blues and purples were hidden away here and there, but subtly is something that I was hoping wouldn't be the choice as we stay in a stagnant economy.Women's clothes are getting a good bonus here, with bright reds and oranges (naturally colors of choice for fall), but men get the short end of the stick again. With bargain prices being the choice, black is something that everyone is turning to. Sleek, yes, stylish, maybe, exciting, NO! So what I am going to ask all of you who may be reading this is to break from what we are being told to wear this Fall and go ahead and bring out those bright reds and oranges boys. Who said girls get to have all the fun, lets bring the blood out of autumn. Reds and purples with browns will be the clotting process we need to coagulate the boring fashion down-slide our poor designers have been forced in to. Bring back their inspiration, let them have the liberty to give us bright blues and purples next fall and maybe even get us out of this depressing black and white phase.Just as a side note, it seems even Diesel changed their motives this last issue, showing us an inappropriately colored man floating in his pool. It may be that they don't know spring from fall, but let's take a cue from them to have some fun.
