Dsquared2 Spring Summer 2009 Fashion Collection

When working on my Fashion Week Videos website, I was getting ready to post a video regarding Dsquared2, and I wanted to learn a bit more about the company. When I visited their site (Dsquared2), I saw images from their advertising campain. Thought it was VERY interesting so I wanted to show you the picture. "Trial battles: it is a true Fighting Woman who represents the new Dsquared2 Spring/Summer 2009 advertising campaign. This Dsquared2 woman is an angel of war, a true, strong fighter, but one that still maintains her femininity. The campaign features the two iconic top-models of the Nineties, Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista. They are engaged in a statuesque struggle that leaves no sign of winner or loser, but that reveals the idealistic contrast of beauty and universally recognized image of opposites: ebony versus ivory. Naomi, with warm colours and features offsets Linda, who represents the cool, icy contrast. This battle can only end with an energy that unites these two women of absolute, unambiguous beauty. Photographed by the unmistakable hand of Steven Meisel, these modern fighters are situated in an industrial location, surrounded by diverse shades of grey."
