Designer Awareness: Estela Balan By Diana Martinez

That's So New York - As I'm sure the majority of you know, I try my best to find some of the most influential and inspirational up-and-coming designers to introduce to you all here at ‘That's So New York.’ Recently I have been working with up-and-coming luxury label 'Estela Balan', designed and created by young yet talented Mexican designer Diana Martinez. Diana has powered through a range of trends to provide us with a fantastic collection full of color-popping designs as well as some of our favorite floral inspired prints, especially for her Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Diana is fantastic in both designing and providing us with a range of different color schemes and prints, keeping a contrasting shape and style throughout each and every collection. Although this season the majority of us may be thinking that both floral and drapes as well pleats are 'in', Martinez manages to incorporate both of these trends into her everyday technique, which overly is by far the most impressive feature about almost each and every one of her designs.

If you're one for color-popping and 'out there' designs, then Estela Balan is certainly aluxury fashion label which you should be throwing large amounts of your industry attention to. With almost all garments stamped with a price-tag between $120 and $260 USD, this is a both a daytime and evening event-worthy label which you should be grabbing with both hands and shouting from the rooftops about. With mentions of Fashion Week and international retailing, Estela Balan is a label which is rapidly expanding within the fashion industry whilst grabbing the attention of some of fashion's hottest young up-and-coming fashionistas; we should certainly be applauding Miss Martinez for such a fantastic line of floral inspirations as well as the display of such young yet intriguing talent.
