There are many looks we can’t miss on Day 2 of Cannes Film Festival. Who is best dressed?  The stars wore designer evening dresses shining on the red carpet.

Tilda Swinton wore Haider Ackermann at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “We Need To Talk About Kevin” Premiere tonight. The navy satin runway pants have become a sleek asymmetrical high-waist skirt with pockets and a side split. Tilda’s top is haltered compared to the sleeveless runway top. An Olympia Le-Tan clutch and some unfortunate Jil Sander pumps completed her look.

Mia Wasikowska looked breath-taking on the red carpet for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Restless” Premiere. She opted for a sleek Roland Mouret Fall 2011 gown which was inspired by a shorter version which we saw on the runway in Paris. Her lava red mermaid gown was only accessorized with silver earrings and a simple silver ring.

Emily Browning continues to gain more and more confidence on the red carpet, and that was showcased at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Sleeping Beauty” Premiere. She looked beautiful wearing a Valentino embroidered gown. We are more used to seeing her wearing quirky or knee-length dress, but she got the Cannes memo and opted for something very beautiful and glamorous for her premiere.

Aishwarya Rai looked spectacular as she made her way onto the red carpet for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Sleeping Beauty” Premiere. She is working the hell out of this Armani Privé Spring 2011 gown. So much so that she’s leaving me quite speechless with her poise, grace and beauty. We love her white and navy version, as we can’t picture the runway version on her.
