Calvin Klein has pushed the envelope with semi-nude Times Square ads, but their latest billboard campaign is moving fashion brands and retailers a bit closer to the Fashion 3.0 era. Now, Calvin Klein’s latest campaign incorporates the use of QR Codes into its billboard advertising. Yes, another fashion brand has made a bold move towards technology!


The billboard (this one placed on Sunset Blvd, just above some of the best tacos in LA) marks the official premiere of Calvin Klein Jeans’s Fall 2010 advertising campaign. People can take a picture the billboard on their smartphone, and the cell phone will play a 40-second ad, give links to share the ad via Facebook or Twitter and connect users to the website.
