Beach Uniform for Upcoming Summer

I am not a natural when it comes to packing suitcases. I am a creative (that’s code for messy) mind and to plan and prepare for a vacation in advance just doesn’t suit me.

Most times I haven’t even booked hotels for most of the trip when I enter the plane. However, there are certain pieces that even a messy mind such as me simply cannot forget to pack when heading for the sun. For me that is ALWAYS one loose shirt, simply because it is a true all-rounder. Regardless whether it’s protection for sun-burned shoulders or something that you can just quickly throw over your bikini to head into the next ice cream shop – the oversized shirt is always my number 1.

Today’s pictures were shot during my first day in Tulum – they don’t feature burned shoulders but a loose striped shirt by s. Oliver. At the moment s.Oliver has a campaign on button-down shirts and they asked Alex and me whether we wanted to both present a striped shirt. For Alex it was the first time in front of the camera (he usually feels much more comfortable on the other side of the lense) and I think he did a great job considering!:) I bought my shirt three sizes too big because I prefer it loose when it comes to shirts – and when you are on vacation you deserve things to be a bit more relaxed than usually. I combined the shirt with a striped bikini by s. Oliver and used denim shorts. But I am also looking forward to take the shirt on an outing with jeans and heels once both I and spring are back in Germany. Until then I send you lots of sun from Mexico, xx Leonie
