1. The Pencil Heels
If you have been complaining about that nagging back for quite some time now, check your footwear. While high heels hamper with your body alignment, studies also suggest that heels exert undesirable levels of stress on the spine. This misalignment of the spine and excessive stress leads to compressed discs and persistent back pain. It also affects the hips and calves, leaving you in pain.

2. Poor fitting bras
Women, quite often, have the tendency to wear bras that are smaller than their actual size. Wearing extremely tight bras can prevent the rib cage from expanding completely, in turn, preventing the lungs from functioning completely. This results in shallow breathing, paving the way for chronic tension in the shoulders and neck.

3. Tight jeans
Skinny fit jeans might be in vogue, they are not flattering for your health. According to leading surgeons across the globe, regularly wearing tight-fitting jeans and trousers could trigger meralgia paresthetica, a condition characterized by numbness through the thigh. In the long term, this numbness could damage your nerves permanently. Tight pants also cause stomach issues, including gastritis, bloating, and irritable bowel syndrome.

4. The lug bag
Bigger bags are comfortable as you can carry numerous things at a time with you. But, the larger and heavier your bag is, the more the chances of you developing shoulder and arm troubles. It even causes misalignment and muscle imbalances. The result – there is an increased risk of you developing chronic neck and spinal troubles, including sciatica, Spondylosis, and Cervical spondylitis.

5. Shapewear and corsets
They are everywhere now. Abdominal trimmers, thigh shapers, waist cinchers, and whole body shaping suits! And why not when everyone wants that luscious hourglass figure with the tiny waist! But, how many of you are aware that you will be hurting yourself in the process? From gastrointestinal troubles to breathing issues, from constipation to fertility issues, these shapewear delights are abodes of troubles.
