Actress Alia Bhatt arrived clad in her wedding saree for the National Film Awards ceremony being held in New Delhi on October 17. The actress, who won the National Film Award for her performance in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', arrived at Vigyan Bhawan in the capital with her husband Ranbir Kapoor.
For the eminent day, the actress slipped into one of the most special pieces from her wardrobe – her wedding saree. The ivory saree featured delicate golden embroidery all over. The actress, however, styled the beauteous drape in a very different manner.
Not only did she choose a different set of jewels, but she also tied her hair in a bun instead of keeping it open. For the National Film Awards ceremony, Alia styled her wedding saree with an exquisite choker with a pair of matching ear studs.
She rounded off her look with subtle but impactful makeup that comprised defined brows, kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lips and a dainty red bindi. Alia was also seen sporting her magnificent wedding ring.
