Set to kick off the adidas yzy on sale for the summer, we now have another look at the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2in Mono Ice color. Set to be accompanied by the “Mono Clay” take that previously surfaced, the “Mono Ice” colorway is just one of four colorways reportedly releasing in June.
The latest take on the popular footwear model features a new translucent light blue one piece upper that obscures a web cage design directly underneath. Detailing comes in the form of matching pull tabs, lacing and sockliner. Rounding up the design of the shoe is a full-length encapsulated BOOST sole unit that continues the translucent aesthetic found on the upper.
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, is probably an accurate phrase to describe adidas and Kanye West‘s formula of dropping the same silhouette in different colors because the releases continue to fly off of the shelves. A prime example of that is the YEEZY BOOST 700 as after releasing its “Sun” makeup and uncovering its “Bright Blue” option, it’s now being brought to the forefront again to reveal its forthcoming “Enflame Amber” offering.
Revealed by YEEZY MAFIA, the impending installment is dependent on both earthy tones and louder accents. Suede heels and heightened sections of the base layer are stained with a lighter beige, and come balanced out with darker brown suedes that makeup the mudguards. Further accents can be spotted on the toe boxes that feature turquoise panels as well as the faint yellow shoe laces, two elements of which draw close comparisons to the OG YEEZY BOOST 700 “Wave Runner”. Chunky midsoles elect to go with a more playful exterior as it is mainly dyed with a tangerine orange hue and complemented with subtle black notes across the forefoot and towards the back end.
