A Bubbly Personae

That's So New York - I'm afraid that I cannot even take a glimmer of credit for this post, simply because the majority of you may have noticed that this is the same video which Susie Lau (Susie Bubble) of Style Bubble posted to her blog just a couple of days ago, yet I'm afraid that despite the fact that this video was not made by me (even though I would have loved to have taken credit for the quirky song which plays over the top of the video along with the talent behind the filming) I couldn't resist posting it after it threw itself to the top of a competitive list of my favorite runway shows; certainly grabbing the most creative achievement from my perspective (therefore a massive well-done to Band of Outsiders Designer, Scott Sternberg) - Just incase some of you are unaware, this is a video of the Band of Outsiders show which was part of Pitti Immagine's Pitti Uomo event in Florence where Sternberg chose to present both his mens and women's Spring/Summer 2011 collections.

The menswear line was titled Band and the womenswear collection was oddly titled Boy , presumedly because each and every garment which the female models graced the runway area with had a hint of masculine charm, such as the padded blazers which heightened the models shoulders; perfectly fitting to what Susie named to be a working girl look, simply because all of the garments would have slipped into the office backdrop perfectly. The mens collection was all about simple american charm as the male models flirted with the females and followed them around the runway area (I've never seen such a natural use of choreography where the models are acting yet still seem themselves.)
