Always follow your instincts - It's Fashionable!

Writing for living...about Fashion on top of that, Impossible thing right? WRONG!!No later than a year ago, I decided to make an important career move - a crazy transition from the corporate world to Fashion - to follow my long life dream of becoming a Fashion writer/reporter - it was scary at first (and still is), uncertain and most importantly, it required everything I believed in, to follow through with this idea, and trust me when I say that today I am absolutely glad I did.Around 4pm today, as I was about to exit my "corporate office" (Job still pays for the bills), I received a call from one of Canada's top Fashion Magazine FLARE - yes, that FLARE!!! One of many magazines I have been reading for many years and submitted few articles of mine lately. They called to get my approval to publish one of my articles in their upcoming issue!!! Needless to say that I almost fell off my "corporate desk" when I heard the news, I tried to keep my cool while talking to the lady over the phone but the 13years old girl in me was screaming in joy - Excited and Grateful for having her dream so close to be accomplished -This, just to say that we should always listen to our gut feelings, instincts, beliefs....whatever you may call it - the answer always lies within, waiting for us to listen closely. So on that note, I am ecstatic with lots of writing to do, this will be another short night but hey...I am Loving it!!!Thanks to everyone who supported & encouraged me in any kind of way - Here on Fashion Industry Network and everywhere else.By the same occasion, if you are looking for a writer/columnist to add some fun and spirit to your publications, simply contact me: contact@miss-sly.comCan't wait to hear from you,Just Believe!Miss SLY!
