FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEThe Dahlia’s Heart organization presents charity event to benefit The NAMES Project FOUNDATION’s AIDS Memorial QuiltThe 1st Annual Triple Fantasy Fashion Show Will Ignite the Interest of the Fashion EliteATLANTA (Aug. 7, 2008) – On Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, The Dahlia’s Heart Organization, the non-profit arm of The Platinum Dahlia Event Planning & Design Company, will present its first charity “Triple Fantasy Fashion event” to benefit the Atlanta-based NAMES Project Foundation’s AIDS Memorial Quilt. The quilt is made up of more than 46,000 colorful panels that memorializes the life of a person lost to AIDS.“This “blue carpet” affair will be one of Atlanta’s most high profile fashion events of the year and will showcase six of Atlanta’s hottest fashion designers,” said Ursula Hodge, an event designer who co-owns The Dahlias with fashion designer Marjani (MJ) Sykes, whose EmJha Collection with the urban classic flare will be highlighted during the show. “There will also be a Fantasy After Party with fantasy design, fabulous surprises, special celebrity and VIP guests, food, drinks, succulent sweets and more.”Atlanta based Kinnik Sky, 5th season finalist of American Idol, will be in attendance to co-host the event with Hodge and Sykes. The EmJha Collection and Platinum Fire Designs are sponsoring the event.“We are very proud to host this event since it will allow so many Atlantans to better understand how devastating HIV and AIDS are in our community,” said Sykes. “At the same time, we’ll use this as a celebration of the lives of people who have died of AIDS-related causes.”The Triple Fantasy Fashion Show event will be conducted at the Parkway Loft at 626 Parkway Drive in Atlanta from 7:30 pm – 1:00 am.
