Makeup artist looking for apprenticeship in New York

Hello Fashion Industry Networkers! My name is Nakia and I am a makeup artist just starting to get my feet wet in this industry! I currently reside in Baltimore, MD but will be re-locating to the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area in May 2008. I am looking for any opportunities to get my foot in the door. I have a lot to learn and I'm more than ready to jump in! If anyone has any information regarding apprenticeships, classes, other makeup artist info, etc.. please let me know. Thanks!<3 nakia
