Their new film directed by Baz Luhrman will no doubt inspire a period of pussy bow blouses and pillar box rouged lips. The formula is failsafe.It shows Australia in its hot and sweaty glory, and taps into our inner wanderlust. Set against breathtaking scenery every frame emerges like a beautiful technicolour page. Like a colourful remake of a poignant memory there will undoubtedly be a fashion reaction. Whether it be a Hennes style-equestrian moment, all whips and worn in chaps or a more polished forties frolick remains to be seen.
