Oh great, it’s wedding season. Yes, the celebration of love is wonderful. But it’s freakin’ stressful for everyone. From the bride, to the bridesmaids, right on down to the flower girl—everyone is worried about something. Oh, and you’re only peripherally involved? That’s even worse. While waiting to find out if you’re even invited to the celebration, you get to worry about if you’ll get a +1, who that will be, what you’ll wear, how much you’ll spend on a gift—it never ends.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret. 27 MarieProm short prom dresses is on HBO Go. There, there, isn’t everything better now? It sure is. While this movie makes almost everything better in life, it really does a number on wedding stress—just in time for the summer when various nuptials seems to suck up every precious warm weekend.

Some people know, understand and cherish the powers of 27 Dresses. Some watched it once and thought it was okay, and some have never seen it. To all of those groups: please take this time to revisit it.

The film stars Katherine Heigl as Jane, a woman who, you guessed it, has been a bridesmaid 27 times. She’s currently gearing up to serve as maid of honor to her younger sister Tess (Malin Akerman) who is getting married to none other than Jane’s long-time crush, George (Ed Burns). Sigh. With her best friend (Judy Greer, always) and wedding reporter Kevin (James Marsden) by her side, Jane hits all the highs and lows only a wedding can provide.
