The activities of the "Piazza Girlbile" 2019 project are underway, promoted by the Municipality with Cisa31 and Informagiovani. About thirty young volunteers take care of the maintenance of benches and games, moving by bicycle.

In Carmagnola, until the first week of July included the now customary summer laboratory for active citizenship education called "Piazza infantile 2019".

The project is promoted by the Municipality of Carmagnola with the InformaGiovani and Lavoro and the Cisa31 social-welfare Consortium and involves about thirty boys and girls between the ages of 15 and 17.

The 2019 edition started with a novelty: practical training in bicycle maintenance carried out in collaboration with Cicli Groppo in the Viale Barbaroux bicycle workshop. "For the kids, it was a nice opportunity to learn the art of knowing how to handle the small unforeseen events that can occur when traveling by bicycle: a wheel is pierced, the brakes are worn out, etc. For Sergio and Francesca Groppo was instead an opportunity to convey, with great professionalism and competence, the passion for a vehicle that was as ecological as ever ".

Divided into small groups, the participants in Piazza Girlbile dismantled and reassembled wheels and forks and performed minor maintenance on their vehicles.

On the same day, the safety training was held, with a reflective jacket, hat, and gloves. Finally, a brief formative moment for the planning of the activities to be carried out, for which it is mandatory to travel by bicycle.

The young volunteers are now taking care of the maintenance of benches and games in various parts of the city and the realization of murals, in collaboration with the trainees of the graphic institute "Veloso Mucci" of Bra.
