2010 Swimwear Trends It’s that time of year again: beach weather!!

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim Shows for 2010 were full of fresh
approaches to swimwear. There was a suit for everyone, whether you are
modest at heart, or a little on the daring side you can definitely find
a swimsuit that reflects your personal style. Check out these 5 trends
for this swimwear season:

1. Color Galore. Monotone suits were definitely overshadowed by bright and bold colors
this year. From rich jewel tones to 80’s-esque neon’s, to prints with
pastel palettes, color was all the rage this season. Break away from
the safety of dark neutrals and dare to make a color splash this summer!

2. Graphic Prints. Graphic prints have been overtaking the runways for a couple of years
now. This year they have made their way into swimwear. Turning up on
one piece suits, bikinis, and even cover-ups, graphic prints are all
the rage!

3. Cut-Outs. Cut out bathing suits have quickly become one of the most trendy
swimwear styles for 2010. Whether you choose one with subtle cut outs
or chunky rips, muted earth tones or shocking colors, these bathing
suits look spectacular. The cut out suits expose enough skin for a sexy
style while leaving a little mystery as well!

4. One Shoulder Styles. Another trend sneaking its way into swimwear after achieving popularity
on the clothing runways are one shoulder bathing suits. The
asymmetrical design is flattering and edgy. Whether you are sporting a
one shoulder one piece or bikini, this trend is available in a style
suitable for all body types.

5. Mismatched swimwear. Mismatched two piece swimwear is an obvious trend this year. It’s all
about individuality and proves that many women don’t want a
matchy-matchy ensemble. Instead, you can choose from separates and mix
and match a bikini to reflect your own style.
