At my first thrift store stopI scored not one but two ElieTahari slacks, one black and one white both $2.50 each. Talk abouta success story when Elie Tahari came to this country he landed in NewYork and slept many nights at a YMCA hotel or even on the benches ofCentral Park and now his fashion luxury empire evolved into a $500million business. No matter how many times I read that about Tahari Ican’t help but feel inspired. I then found this GORGEOUS Wolfordwhite blouse made in Austria and so fab it looks perfect with eitherslacks, and again I paid $2.50 for this blouse. For just 60 years theWolford brand has stood for the highest quality, innovative knitweartechnology, creativity and luxury. Customers have been convinced by thesingularity and distinctiveness of their products from day one. Lastyear Wolford had several seasonal co-operations in co-branding with wellknown international designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier, PhilippeStarck, Vivienne Westwood, Karl Lagerfeld and Emilio Pucci. For $7.50 Igot 3 luxury brands and 2 gorgeous looks. I then headed over toanother thrift store to see what they had in stock and lucky for me Ifound thisMaxMara weekend lilac denim skirt. Weekend is the label of thefamous clothing company MaxMara which has its roots in the fashion worldof Italy. MaxMara Weekend is the brand you can trust whether you’relooking for something knitted or something a little more formal, thisclothing label has something for everyone. This cute and sassy shortskirt was $5.00 and I think if you wanted to wear the Wolford blousewith the lilac skirt you wouldn’t get any argument from me. Don’tforget to shop at TheThrifters Boutique and follow me on Twitter & Facebook, also besure to check out my YouTube videos about thrifting. Toodles for now.Daniel
