  • Sorry for the long delay in responding to your comments. You had asked if I had any suggestions for young people interested in becoming fashion designers. If you have not already done so, I would suggest taking courses at a fashion school. Second, I would work for a fashion designer to learn the business. Then try going out on your own.
  • Very good sir let's talk soon! Maybe we can start something soon. I need to get some things done quickly and I also need to start thinking about a Photo shoot. What times are you available? Whats your number sir.
  • nice meet you  here  how are  you

  • Hey Rakem,

I'm not sure if I can teach all about Fashion. I can give you a few pointers and you can come and learn in my space but there is lots of information. What are you specifically interested in?

  • Hello Rakem:

Thank you for adding me & welcome to my page.

    Best,

    Maryanne

  • If you are in the D.C. area you should be able to find a few resources from your local community college or design school...I have a contact in Maryland but I'm not sure if she's into the fashion scene.  Give me a few days and I will let you know...
  • Welcome and thanks for the request!  I would say to start off by working in the industry either as an intern for school credit or during the summers in places like the gap, h&m or whatever retail shops are in your area.  Once you're in soak up EVERYTHING...i don't care if it requires mopping, stocking or greeting...and if what you're looking for isn't in your area when you come of age then attend college in one of the fashion capitols.  Make connections, get a mentor, and network, network and network some more...

    Much success
